Meet our 2016 Duke Ministerial Summer Intern

Hi Everyone! I wanted to introduce our 2016 Duke Ministerial Intern Camille Rabbat. He will be with us May 29th for 10 weeks. We look forwarding to being apart of his journey these coming weeks.

My name is Camille Michel Rabbat, I am a rising 2nd year Graduate student at Duke University’s Divinity School. God has moved in powerful ways in my life to bring me to the point of serving your community this summer. I come from the fast-paced world of banking and global legal communications related to the mortgaging industry as a project manager for HSBC. God has gradually been shaping me for ministry. Over the years I have been encouraged by many to explore my gifts related to, preaching, teaching and homiletics, as my gifts related to organization and community initiatives. I believe God has called me to serve through the academy and the church, therefore, I am exciting to do so with all you fine folks! I also am looking forward to bringing my creative writing and marketing background to the community, offering up my services to promote any fresh new ideas the church looks to bring to center stage within your city. I hope to gain the love and trust of many of you over my time this summer. I know that trust and respect are earned over time and am willing to put in the leg work! Please let me know if there is anything I can do because after all, I am here to not only assist Rev. Gaskin, but also help you while learning the ropes along the way! I look forward to meeting each and every one of you. Take care and God bless!
