We are in the middle of three week sermon series called EXTRAORDINARY. The word extraordinary means to exist outside the bounds of normal and the word normal means to conform to the standard.

Romans 12:2 says that we should not be conformers to the world but instead we should be transformed by the renewing of our minds. We are to believe, see, talk, live beyond the bounds of the standard and to be transformed by God's rich  love for us.

This week we will be talking about our Baptism. We will be looking at what is so extraordinary about this sacrament. In particular we will be looking at what we as United Methodist's believe about baptism and how our baptism is not merely an event in our past but a present reality.
